  • ผู้สมัครต้องเป็นผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 สายสามัญ กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้วิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ ฟิสิกส์ เคมี ชีวะ ต้องเรียนรายวิชาพื้นฐานและรายวิชาเพิ่มเติม รวมกันไม่น้อยกว่า 22 หน่วยกิต กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ต้องเรียนรายวิชาพื้นฐานและรายวิชาเพิ่มเติม รวมกันไม่น้อยกว่า 12 หน่วยกิต

จำนวนหน่วยกิต:

  • จำนวนหน่วยกิต รวมไม่น้อยกว่า    138 หน่วยกิต
    • วิชาศึกษาทั่วไป                   30 หน่วยกิต 
    • วิชาเฉพาะ ไม่น้อยกว่า            102 หน่วยกิต
    • วิชาเลือกเสรี ไม่น้อยกว่า          6 หน่วยกิต

This program is modern with its application of SCI + BUSINESS concept. The program guarantees jobs, and graduates will be able to become entrepreneurs or business owners, particularly in Thailand, which is the hub of ASEAN’s textile industry. The industry is also important to the national economy and contributes greatly to the gross domestic product (GDP).

Program Description

This program involves learning about technologies and development in the chemical production of textiles, decoration of completed products and adding value to textile products, and evaluation of chemical and physical properties. Learners will study modern machinery and tools in production and testing in the textile industry, including product design and development concepts of textiles and garments and development techniques and management principles in textile and garment businesses.

Students who enroll in this program will be able to study textile innovations, technologies and management in the entire system for actual applications in the industrial and business sectors. Upon graduation, graduates will be able to pursue such occupations as scientists, researchers, entrepreneurs and business owners.

Learning in this program emphasizes students’ development, inventions and creativity in textile materials for creating value in the industrial sector and becoming entrepreneurs.

Internships or Cooperative Education

Students will receive opportunities for internships at leading organizations in the public and private sectors within the country and abroad that are part of the network of the Faculty of Science and Technology (internship takes place during the summer semester of the third year or at the end of the first semester of the fourth year).

Further Studies

Further studies are possible in a Master of Science program in material innovations at the Faculty of Science and Technology or other leading academic institutions in the country or abroad.
